I Timothy 4:12 "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity." Kingdom education is the focus of Christian Community Schools. The students are taught to excel academically, but more importantly, they are trained to impact the world for Christ. The CCS teachers and administrators strive to discover and develop the spiritual gifts that God has placed within each student. Knowledge can be taught, but wisdom is from the Lord. The teachers at CCS do not just teach a Bible class, but the Bible is woven throughout the entire curriculum.

Bible class is a required part of the curriculum. Teaching the Bible begins in kindergarten and continues through all grades with a survey of the Old and New Testaments. The Bible curriculum and spiritual emphasis of the school is designed to lead students to a greater knowledge of Jesus Christ and to develop the necessary disciplines to become a fully devoted follower of Christ. This emphasis is consistent with the overall philosophy and purpose of the Schools, which is to nurture the whole person mentally, physically, and spiritually as our Lord “…advanced in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man”. (Luke 2:52).

Chapel services are a vital part of students' spiritual development. During chapel services, the students have the opportunity to engage in worship and to hear valuable and practical Biblical teaching. Elementary Chapel is held every Thursday. The services include praise songs and messages from guest speakers. The Middle/High School chapel services are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Thursday chapel is more traditional and consists of praise and worship and devotionals from various guest speakers. The Tuesday chapel is student-led. During this chapel service, the students are encouraged and mentored as they use and develop their spiritual gifts to lead worship, bring the Word, and pray for each other.
