High School - Preparing for Future Success 

CCS offers a stringent college preparatory program.  Students are afforded the opportunity to take advanced classes, such as:  PreCal, Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics.

Students may also move forward in Dual-Enrollment college classes.

CCS also offers fine arts and elective classes which include:  music, drama, vocational, arts and humanities, and study skills.

The juniors at CCS are encouraged to take the ACT and/or SAT.  CCS students are provided the occasion to take the PSAT and the PLAN (ACT college readiness test) in the 10th grade.


Graduation Requirements

CCS divides its academic year into two terms.  To graduate from Christian Community Schools, a student must earn a total of 26 credits consisting of the following:

English - 4 credits

Math - 4 credits

Science - 3 credits

Social Science - 3 credits

Geography - 1/2 credit

Speech - 1/2 credit

Foreign Language - 2 credits

Bible - 4 credits

Fine Arts - 1 credit

Physical Education - 1 credit

Health - 1/2 credit

Finance - 1/2 credit

Technology - 1 credit

Elective - 1 credit
